Responsibilities

​

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions, functional abilities, and establish personalized treatment goals

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education

• Provide hands-on care utilizing specialized techniques such as joint mobilization, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy

• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all interactions according to clinic and regulatory standards

• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers including physicians, occupational therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated patient care

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and treatment methodologies

• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives

• Mentor and provide guidance to physical therapy assistants and students as needed

• Assist with clinic operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management

Qualifications

​

• Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required

• Current state physical therapy license in good standing

• Professional liability insurance

• CPR certification

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic interventions

• Experience with diverse patient populations and various medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation

• Excellent manual therapy skills and experience with evidence-based treatment techniques

• Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation and medical records

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education

• Experience with direct access evaluation and treatment preferred

• Board certification in a specialty area (OCS, NCS, SCS, etc.) a plus
