Responsibilities
​

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions, functional abilities, and establish personalized treatment goals
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education
-
Provide hands-on care utilizing specialized techniques such as joint mobilization, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy
-
Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document all interactions according to clinic and regulatory standards

Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery
-
Collaborate with other healthcare providers including physicians, occupational therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated patient care

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and treatment methodologies

Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
-
Mentor and provide guidance to physical therapy assistants and students as needed

Assist with clinic operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management

Qualifications
​
-
Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required
-
Current state physical therapy license in good standing
-
Professional liability insurance
-
CPR certification
-
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
-
Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic interventions
-
Experience with diverse patient populations and various medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation
-
Excellent manual therapy skills and experience with evidence-based treatment techniques
-
Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation and medical records
-
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
-
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
-
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
-
Experience with direct access evaluation and treatment preferred
-
Board certification in a specialty area (OCS, NCS, SCS, etc.) a plus
