Physical and Occupational Therapy

What to Expect

What You Can Expect Your First Time

Starting physical therapy with a new care provider can be an overwhelming task for some. Here at Rehab Associates, we want to make your appointments as easy and seamless as possible. If you have not already, please download the new patient forms and fill them out prior to your first visit. This will make for less paperwork to do when you arrive. Once you have your appointment confirmed, here is what you can expect upon arrival at our clinic:

  1. Try to arrive a little early. 15 minutes will work. This helps in the event there is any additional paperwork that needs to be completed before we can start your session.
  2. If you have a co-pay or deductible, come prepared to cover the cost. Usually co-pays and deductibles are due at the time of service, unless other payment arrangements have been made.
  3. Please wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes or sneakers. You may be asked to perform some exercises depending on what you are coming in for.
