Byron Mossholder, PTA
Byron is a Newark, Ohio, native who was introduced to physical therapy as a patient. He suffered a catastrophic knee injury during a martial arts competition in 2011 and spent the next year in physical therapy following his surgery. After learning how to walk again, and completing his physical therapy, he decided that he would like to become a therapist himself and help others who faced similar challenges. He attended and graduated from the highly competitive Zane State College, physical therapist assistant program in 2015 and began working in the home health field. Byron is someone who believes that good interpersonal communication skills and a sense of humor are also very important qualities in his profession and enjoys getting to know and be a part of his clients’ lives.
